Accessibility statement

Scope #

This statement applies to the website at www.aerea.de in both language versions.

Level of conformance #

We designed and built this website to WCAG 2.2 level AA. Purely commercial B2B offerings do not fall under the German Accessibility Strengthening Act; we apply the standard voluntarily, because we offer accessibility testing as a service ourselves - among others in a public administration system.

Measures implemented #

• Contrast verified in both colour schemes; text and controls reach at least 4.5:1.
• Visible focus on all interactive elements, in light and dark scheme.
• Target size of at least 24 × 24 px for all controls (WCAG 2.2, 2.5.8).
• Keyboard operability throughout, including a skip link to the content.
• Semantic structure - real heading levels, <section> with stable anchors, form labels as <label>, images with alternative text, figures as <figure> with <figcaption>.
• Motion is limited to subtle reveals and is removed entirely under prefers-reduced-motion.
• Colour is never the only carrier of meaning - form error messages appear as text below the field.
• No external dependencies that could affect operability.

Not conclusively audited #

There is no full audit by an independent body. Automated testing and a manual keyboard pass have been carried out; screen reader testing was done by sampling.
